The brookfieldLodge blog
This is the blog created and written by the founding members of the BrookfieldLodge Society. We are newcommers to a big world standing on the doorstep of professional life, and as we plan, dream and think about what the future will hold for us, sometimes, we let you have a look into those thoughts.
We are…
Hendrik – while you don’t often see something from this man here, when you do, it is always wise words chosen with care and thought. Hendrik is our perfectionist, in all aspects of his life. Born in Germany, he studied set and lighting design at LIPA, where he met the rest of us and became a broofieldlodger. Hendrik takes his time with everything, sometimes to the frustration of his fellows, but he always delivers on time and the result is just close to perfect. We have never seen Hendrik eat taco.
Georg - A Bavarian (Bayern) born lighting designer with an eye for color and an ear for rythm that few can match. Georg likes things because they look good and will never pass up an opportunity to discuss what he consideres to be art. His favourites includes “E.R.”, Italian food, his Nikon D40 and the classic combo of a J.D. and coke. Likes the free world and has great thoughts and ideas about us all living in peace! Visit his website at www.georgspindler.de Eats taco; the way it was meant to be eaten, perfected, clean and makes it all look very easy.
Eyal – the Israeli that thinks he’s British (or is it the other way around?) writer and director with all the thoughts of the world in his head at the same time. Eyal is a juggler that gives a whole new meaning to the expression “having more than one ball in the air at the same time”. He is the society’s supplier of goods such as Stargate DVD’s and people that bring good red wine. Can go anywhere and make new friends everywhere, then not hear from them inĂ‚ a year and suddenly visit them again! Eats taco; the same way with a lot of mess every time, will eventually get it right. He thinks.
Hans - born and bred in the city of kings, Trondheim, currently living in Oslo. Hans is the society’s number cruncher and self proclaimed geek of geeks. Hans likes, as Georg one time pointed out, data for the sake of data, and enjoys reading (and correcting) various articles on Wikipedia for amusement. Hans speaks several languages, most of which are completely useless in everyday conversation, as they are some form of computer code. One of the few men alive who truly enjoy marching bands and bag-pipe music.
